Position Objective
The Junior Recruiter will be responsible for posting job, examining resumes, screening potential candidates, and setting up interviews. This position will work closely with the HR Manager to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This position will work closely with the HR team, specifically the HR Coordinator and HR Generalist to meet initiatives.
Essential Results
Recruitment tasks, responsibilities and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to ensure accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Posts active positions utilizing talent management software and assist with advertisement processes.
- Network through industry contacts, associate memberships, social media, and employees.
- Screen applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers as needed.
- Develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process.
- Attends and participates in college recruiting initiatives and job fairs.
- Handle administrative duties and recordkeeping.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with developing recruitment strategies and branding, strong focus on veterans and military.
- Develop pipeline of qualified candidates in advance need.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
