Position Objective

The Enrollment Center Programs Manager is responsible for the oversight and effectiveness of 2-1-1's Enrollment Center programs. This role collaborates with the Director of Enrollment & Navigation Services to develop program strategies. The Programs Manager is responsible for executing the strategy through building relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders. This role ensures the Enrollment Center is meeting contractual obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required; combination of continued education beyond high school and equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • At least two years of experience in program management, project management, and/or external relations required.
  • At least two years of experience working with public benefit-related programs is required; familiarity with the CalFresh/ SNAP program highly desirable.
  • Experience in evaluation, needs assessment, data analysis and program improvement.
  • Ability to provide high-quality customer service to all customers/stakeholders, including the ability to build and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time (this position is 80% internal and 20% external).
  • Demonstrated the ability to lead projects to completion with limited supervision.
  • Superior analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and online applications; skills test may be required.
